Make Money With Art - How to Make Money With Art Online

Learning how to make money with art is something that has always been perceived to be difficult and hard work. Terms like 'the starving artist' are exactly what has come to be expected of the industry. With the incredible power of the internet is it possible to start earning from your artwork?
Quite simply put it is possible. But you do have to think a little differently to find the most profitable methods. Now if you are the kind of artist that is not moving with the times, hey that's fine. But the method I am going to write about is one that will exploit your work and perhaps change some of your perceptions. Maybe even some of your artistic morals will be slightly threatened.
Yes, if you aren't moving with the times and utilising the internet to sell some of your unique pictures then don't read on.
I am not talking about eBay - Effective but time consuming. Even the packing and shipping part of it takes all the fun out of it for me. I don't think I would do that for 6 figures....Well OK for 6 figures I probably would.
I am also not talking about owning and running your own website. Yes this too is a great method. It can be like owning your own online art gallery, but you then have to spend half of your time marketing your website so that people and buyers will actually find it and buy from it.
Now this is the juicy bit. This is the bit that certain artists just don't get, they understand it can change their lives but its almost as if they don't really want to make money from their passion, who knows. If that's you DON'T read on.
I am going to break this up into steps so its really simple to understand and visualize.
1. Create some artwork, a sketch, a painting, anything even a photo. 2. Find an 'art agent' site. 3. Register with the website. 4. Scan and upload your artwork. 5. let them market your work and find buyers. 6. Let a buyer download your artwork for say $1. 7. Split the profit with the agent website. 50 cents each. 8. Keep your copyright, keep the picture, keep it on the same site for it to be downloaded again and again. 9. Create some more artwork. 10. Upload and keep repeating the process.
100 downloads, 100 x 50 cents = you do the math.By Richard Rowley
